Who we are
FieldVet is practice management software for ambulatory equine veterinary practices, provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@fieldvet.io.
What we collect
If you request a demo, we collect the details you give us — your name, practice name, email address, phone number and anything you write in your message. We also keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
If your practice uses FieldVet, we hold the account details needed to give you access, and we process the records your practice stores in the system on their instructions.
How we use it
We use demo enquiries to reply to you and arrange a demonstration. We use account data to provide and secure the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else is involved
We use trusted providers to run FieldVet — for hosting and data storage, payments, email delivery, mapping, and error monitoring. They process data only on our instructions. A current list is available on request.
Your practice's records
Where a veterinary practice uses FieldVet, that practice decides what is recorded and why. If you are a horse owner and want to see, correct or delete your details, please contact your veterinary practice — we act only on their instructions.
Keeping data safe
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each practice's data is isolated from every other, and access is controlled by role. Significant actions are recorded in audit logs.
How long we keep it
We keep demo enquiries for up to 24 months. Account and practice data is kept for as long as the account is active, and afterwards only where we are legally required to — for example, financial records for six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@fieldvet.io and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Our website uses only what it needs to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
We update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top shows the current version.
